Early Mother’s Day Celebrations:
As they say, April showers bring May flowers, and we are excited to invite guests for an intimate afternoon of flower arranging and wine tasting at this year’s Bubbles & Bouquets event. This event will take place on Saturday, May 6th from 1pm-3pm at The Historic Worman House Bistro, right in the heart of America’s Premier Wilderness Resort. With stunning views of the rolling hills and the beautifully manicured gardens of the Worman House, Bubbles & Bouquets offers a perfect opportunity to create lasting memories with your loved ones.
Bubbles & Bouquets at the Worman House: The event is open to anyone aged 21 or older and is the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day early, as attendees can bundle their stay and bundle a bouquet to create an exclusive Mother's Day experience. It's a great chance for guests to express their love and gratitude to the most important women in their lives. Guests will get to assemble a beautiful bouquet of flowers while indulging in exclusive wine tastings from two renowned wineries - J Vineyards & Winery and E. & J. Gallo Winery. Light fare will also be provided to complement the wine tastings. ($125 pp).

Paint and Pour with Mom –Join us for a fun and creative Paint and Pour event with your mom! Unleash your inner artist as you enjoy a relaxing evening of painting while sipping on your favorite beverages. With step-by-step instructions from our expert instructors, you and your mom will create a beautiful masterpiece that you can take home as a special memory. Don't miss out on this unique bonding experience! Opening event to ages 6 and up. We will provide Chex mix and two dinks. We will also have soda and capri suns for the kiddos! ($60 pp).
Mother’s Day Weekend Welcome Table– Make Mother's Day weekend extra special by stopping by Big Cedar Lodge Registration at 4:00pm! Our friendly staff will be there to greet you with a beautiful carnation for all the amazing moms out there. But that's not all - indulge in some delicious cookies while you peruse through exciting information about the upcoming events for the weekend. Don't miss this opportunity to start the weekend off right and show your appreciation for the incredible moms in your life!
Family Date Night with Mom- We have planned an evening of memorable family fun to celebrate and honor all the incredible moms out there. Enjoy some classic lawn games and indulge in mouth-watering fried chicken with delicious sides. But the fun doesn't stop there - test your family's knowledge with a fun and engaging trivia game and compete for some amazing prizes! This is a night you won't want to miss - come make some unforgettable memories with your loved ones and show your appreciation for all that mom does. Event starts at 5:00pm on the Swimmin Hole Lawn ($65 per family).

Experience the magic and excitement of our regular offering, now uniquely themed to honor all the incredible moms out there. Indulge in delectable treats and savory delights, sip on the finest teas, and revel in the charming atmosphere of our enchanting setting. Make this Mother's Day unforgettable by sharing this unforgettable experience with your beloved mom - it's sure to be an adventure you'll both treasure for years to come! ($32 pp).
Charcuterie & Wood Burning- Looking for a unique and creative Mother's Day weekend activity?! On Saturday at 11am-1pm, we will be offering our regular charcuterie class with a fun twist. Not only will you learn how to create a delicious and beautiful charcuterie board, but we will also be introducing you to the art of wood burning. This is a perfect date activity for mom and dad to enjoy together, as they create something beautiful and tasty while spending quality time together. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience at Big Cedar Lodge! ($130 per pair).
Mother’s Day Terrarium Workshop- Celebrate Mother's Day with a fun and educational class at Big Cedar Lodge where you will learn how to build your own open-container terrarium. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, teaching you about the different layers and how to care for your plants. The class includes an open container, all the necessary items for building the terrarium, and 3 succulent plants. Don't miss this opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones while learning a new skill and making special memories with mom! Instructors will provide a terracotta flowerpot for the kids to decorate and then plant one succulent in the pot and give to Mom as a gift. ($55 for adults, $20 for kids).
